Biomethanisation is a natural process of decomposition of organic matter by microorganisms in the absence of oxygen, in darkness and under specific temperature and pH conditions. The biogas thus produced is rich in methane and can therefore, like natural gas, be burned to produce electricity and heat in a cogeneration module.

Anaerobic digestion takes place in four successive phases: hydrolysis > acidogenesis > acetogenesis > methanogenesis

Pioneer in its market, GreenWatt responds effectively to all the challenges of biomethanisation through its revolutionary and proven technology
